727 Analog Cockpit

Air Hollywood's 727 is from a real aircraft and has all original switches and gauges. We went through the painstaking process of disassembling every component of the cockpit, rewiring the entire thing, and putting it back together so that everything "works". The windows fly away, making it easy to shoot from the front "through the glass" and it also splits in half, giving more coverage options while also making the set easily transportable.

What the 727 Analog Cockpit Set Includes

  • A cockpit from a real Boeing 727 with all original switches and gauges
  • Fully rewired: every component was disassembled and reassembled so the panel "works" on camera
  • Fly-away windows for shooting from the front, through the glass
  • A split design that separates in half for more coverage and easy transport
  • A photo packet available to download from this page

Typical Uses

The 727 gives you a real analog flight deck for airline pilot scenes in feature films, TV series, commercials, music videos and photo shoots. Lit switches and gauges add texture to close-ups, while the split design lets you place the camera where a real cockpit would never allow.

Choosing the Right Cockpit

Pick the 727 when you want authentic analog instruments; choose the Wide-Body Glass Cockpit for a modern digital look, or the Vintage Analog Cockpit for a 1960s/1970s feel. Compare them all on our cockpit sets page.

Build the Whole Flight

Pair the cockpit with a passenger cabin such as the Narrow-Body 737, shoot check-in at the Airport Terminal, and dress the crew with wardrobe and accessories from Air Hollywood Props.
