APEX STOCK BOLSTERS PRODUCTION WITH FILMATICS
Los Angeles, CA, May 14, 2008 – Apex Stock, a subsidiary of Air Hollywood, Inc., today announced that it has retained Filmatics LLC, an award-winning film production boutique in Los Angeles, California, to provide ongoing production knowledge and expertise for current and future production assignments.
In partnering with Filmatics, Apex Stock bolsters its existing production capabilities by bringing a talented crop of young filmmakers together with substantial production resources and well-established distribution. In addition to producing content for Apex Stock’s growing footage library, the new production collaboration intends to offer assignment-based production services to the firms’ clientele.
“We have always had the resources to produce on assignment,” explains Talaat Captan, Apex Stock’s President and CEO. “Filmatics adds a greater level of creativity and technical expertise into the mix, and that’s what makes this partnership so exciting.” Among Filmatics’ numerous productions of film, documentary, music video and mobile content, is “How Henri Came to Stay”, winner of the Audience Award at the Beijing International Film Festival in 2007.
Apex Stock’s high-quality stock footage collection is distributed directly by the firm and also through Getty Images, Corbis Motion and National Geographic.
