After experiencing great difficulty coordinating the logistics involved with filming in an active airport, Mr. Captan knew that there had to be a better way. Air Hollywood featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer!

  Air Hollywood’s K9 Flight School was featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer on Tuesday October 22 Dog lover Talaat Captan said he first got the idea for a class teaching dogs how to be good fliers after being shocked by what he’d seen at an airport. “I [saw] a dog and its owner freaking out,” Captan said. “And then it really hit me that I have a facility [where] I can train these people.” Captan’s Los Angeles facility — the Air Hollywood studio where “Bridesmaids” was shot — is filled with cockpits, cabins and even security checkpoints. 2012 International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition!

International Photography Awards (IPA) has announced the winners of 2012’s competition. Astor Morgan was Awarded: Honorable Mention in Advertising – Other category for the winning entry “Air Hollywood K9 Flight School Ad Campaign.” Entry Description: Air Hollywood asked Astor Morgan to work with them on their ad campaign promoting their new K9 flight school for service dogs and personal pets. These images are a collaboration between Photographer Astor Morgan, Air Hollywood owner Talaat Captan, freelance retoucher Todd Smailles, and of course, the talented K9s played a larger part than anyone else in creating this campaign. THE LOCATION GUIDE – Filming on location at Air Hollywood in Southern California

16 Oct 2012 by Murray Ashton Air Hollywood offers mock-up aeroplane interiors, terminal and airport security sets near Burbank in California. These are spread across four separate sound stages and other facilities include a prop house and a stock footage department. The company was first set up in 1998 and its popularity soared after 9/11 when it became almost impossible to film on board a real plane in the US.
